) leave their small town the weekend after graduating high school to embark on a short road trip to Los Angeles

. With no real hope for the future, they lash out and leave a trail of bodies behind them. The violence escalates throughout the film.

They start by beating up a gas station attendant after accusing him of short-changing them. Roy throws an empty beer bottle in the air and it hits an elderly lady in the head. After a group of girl chastise them for it, they nearly take one on an unexpected joyride.

Several additional encounter lead to additional deaths, including a girl named Angie (Patti D'Arbanville
