Filming

Some scenes of the film were shot at Border Thottam, at night, Arun Vijay states that the film is primarily shot in night at second half. It is said that there is an item number in this film which will be one of its USPs and the team is trying to rope in a popular actress for this song. Arun Vijay had spotted six-pack for this film Crew wanted to shoot some scenes but the downpour of rains had delayed the schedule. Arun Vijay's right shoulder got injured during the climax shoot of 'Thadaiyara Thaakka'. 'Thadaiyara Thaakka' unit was shooting for their climax at the Binny mills for the past 9 days. A factory set was erected with 15 feet fenced compound worth 45 lakh rupees. The art director, Mohana Mahendran, tried to find a live location but since he wasn't satisfied, the team erected a set of an old abandoned factory with machinery to meet director Magizh's expectation, A scene featuring Arun Vijay and villain Vamsi (who played villain roles in Telugu films Darling, Garjana) and his gang takes place in here. Stunt director Anal Arasu composed a lengthy shot which was canned with four cameras. The shot was well rehearsed by both Arun Vijay and Vamsi. During the take Vamsi had to swing a huge iron bar against Arun Vijay in the end, where Arun has to miss it and jump. However, the iron bar slipped from Vamsi's hand and hit Arun's shoulder. Arun couldn't raise his shoulder as it was hurting badly. Shoot had wrapped with few shots remaining.
