Terry Denton is an Australian illustrator and author. The second youngest of five boys, he was born and grew up in Melbourne, Victoria.

Denton has written and illustrated more than 30 of his own books and illustrated countless others for some of Australia's best known authors.

Denton grew up with four brothers in Melbourne and now lives in Mornington, Victoria
