. It was founded on 31 August 2004 with 17 people at the first rehearsal. As of June 2007, the choir has more than 40 active singers.

 on 27 October 2007. The choir can also be heard on D.D.E.'s live CD 15 år live that was released during the Spektrum concert. The album 15 år live has sold to more than platinum level in Norway, and the choir received the platinum CD on the "Gylne tider Vol.1: Up where we belong" concert on 1 March 2008.

On 21 November 2009, the choir celebrated their first 5 years with the show Uten en løs Tråd ("Without a loose thread"). The only lady in the choir is Rigmor Rørhus, the conductor. The choir has its own band, and its motto is Concentus, acroama et gaudium.

November 20th 2010 the choir and D.D.E.
