Technikal first found his passion for dance music as a young teenager, and was inspired by his older brother to take up music production. Producing from the age of thirteen, he got his first track signed at the age of seventeen - and has gone on to sell hundreds of thousands of records across the globe. Since 2006, Alf has picked up the second best producer and remixer three years running; "Which is still a great achievement for me" he states in an interview with Frenzy, "Saying that it would be great to pick up one of the above accolades next year!"

On the 15th November 2010, Technikal released his first album "Techtonik" on iTunes. The album is mostly consisted of his own work and remixes, but includes some tracks from other notable artists such as Guyver and Rodi Style
