Taverniti So Jeans is a sportswear collection from Jimmy Taverniti, who also sells Taverniti Couture. Known for his garment-dying and stonewashing techniques, Taverniti has focused on jeans, T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants and stretch silk tops. In 2004, Taverniti and his old friend Paul Guez (who took over Sasson Jeans from owner Elliott Jamar) joined forces to launch Taverniti So Jeans. Taverniti and Guez’s team, including Gregory Abbou, developed new wash treatments and fits, using premium denim as well as other fabrications from the USA, Japan and Europe.
