Tarandowah has 18 holes on 163 acre (0.65963818 km²) of the old Row family farm. Designed by golf course architect Martin Hawtree the course was named "Best New Course" in Ontario for 2008 by Ontario Golf Magazine and Fairways Magazine, and won Scoregolf

Tarandowah is a par 70 of 5,380 to 7,067 yards and its "scratch" rating should be a minimum of 4.5 strokes over par, making it one of the most challenging tests of golf in the world. Its longest hole is #14 at 588 yards.
