, Ohio but that is merely the receiving post office location. The course and clubhouse facilities are currently in the process of redesign and renovation.

Formerly known as Tanglewood Country Club which was a private country club, the club went into receivership in 2007, when then owner Dennis Romanini failed to make payments on a promissory note to Huntington Bank.

On June 6, 2009, Tanglewood Country Club was purchased at auction by Marc Strauss for $950,000 - less than half of its appraised value and Tanglewood National Golf Club as of July 1, 2009.


The Golf Course

The 18 hole championship golf course was built by William F. Mitchell, a regarded member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects

The 18-hole course sits on 132.47 acre (0.5360875442 km²) and features tree-lined fairways, 46 sand bunkers and water features including a creek running throughout.

Bagroom

The Bagroom was located just below the Golf Shop where the members stored their golf bags. The Bagroom also housed the towel laundering facility and the range ball storage and cleaning facility. It was connected to the Cart Barn where the golf carts were housed. Currently, the former pro shop remains empty and the cart barn is being relocated in closer proximity to the clubhouse.

The Clubhouse

The Tanglewood Country Club Clubhouse was a 27500 square feet (2,554.8 m²) clubhouse with a commercial kitchen, several dining areas, banquet facility accommodating up to 300, golf shop, snack bar, three-room office area, fitness and locker rooms, spas and pools. The current management team is in the process of interviewing architects for a renovation of the entire clubhouse facility.
