Unlike many B&M coasters with their distinctive loud roar, Talon's track and supports were filled with sand, making the ride very quiet. This had appeased neighbors of the park who were concerned about noise from the ride. This concept was also used to make the Dueling Dragons at Islands of Adventure

Ride experience

The ride starts out by ascending the 135 feet (41.1 m) lift hill, leading into pre drop used to relieve stress on the chain. The train then descends the 120 feet (36.6 m) first drop at a 50 degree angle and enters the vertical loop. This is followed by the zero g roll, then an Immelmann loop and an inclined spiral. Next is an S-turn, an airtime hill, and a highly banked turn. The train is then flung into a corkscrew, followed by another hill, and finally the brake run.
