  • a change to the minimum annuity (Mindestumwandlungssatz) which can be paid out by employee pension funds as part of the Swiss pension system (BVG); in order to stabilise the pension system, payouts were to be reduced; the measure was rejected with 72.7% against;
  • on the people's initiative "Against cruelty towards animals and for better legal protection of animals" (initiative for hiring more animal rights lawyers like Antoine Goetschel

    ), rejected with 70.5% against; and
  • a constitutional amendment regarding human subject research, accepted with 77.2% in favour.
