Brief History

Switzerland's reputation in hotel management began more than 100 years ago when the first luxury hotels were built in Switzerland. The "Caux-Palace", was the largest exclusive establishment in its day.
Today, the Caux-Palace is home of SHMS. Students from more than 60 different countries join the school every year to learn in a unique atmosphere, at the very source of Switzerland's hospitality reputation. In the real life environment of the Caux-Palace Hotel, there are many qualified hospitality experts that guide students through a balanced curriculum, comprising a wealth of practical elements, management expertise and languages.

As the number of students at SHMS increased over the last few decades, SHMS purchased a second campus in Leysin
