. After gaining considerable mainstream popularity, Adam Young left the band to focus on Owl City. The band released one EP, called Ambient Blue. Since Young left the group, Tofte has written and produced his own music and lyrics. Tofte and Young still remain friends.

The single "Sleep To Dream" from "Water Colours" was released via iTunes and Amazon on April 26, 2011.
Swimming with Dolphins' debut album entitled Water Colours was released on May 17, 2011 on Tooth & Nail Records. On August 2, 2011 Swimming with Dolphins announced that their music video for "Sleep To Dream" will be released August 9, 2011 on VEVO. On August 9, 2011 Swimming with Dolphins released their debut music video "Sleep To Dream" On VEVO.
