Personal life

She was engaged to a Dubai based entrepreneur, Srikanth, in 2008 but the wedding was later called off. Swathi later got married to a company director, Kiran on 2 December 2009 at Maruthi Gardens, Red Hills in Hyderabad and subsequently announced her retirement from films.
