Susanna Carr, also Jenesi Ash (born November 8, 1969) is an American romance author living in the Pacific Northwest. Her sexy contemporary novels have been translated into seven languages.

Carr's light-hearted romances frequently center on the heroine's sensual journey. Makeovers, reinvention and transformations are common themes. Her work is often described as erotic romance, romantic comedy or chick lit

Susanna Carr started reading romance novels when she was ten years old. The first she read was Anne Mather

's The Arrogant Duke. She says that while the May/December romance doesn't appeal to her these days, she was fascinated by the heroine's journey. She continued reading romances (although they were forbidden in her home and school) because the women in those books pursued and achieved their dreams against all odds.
