Coventry is a town in Tolland County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 11,504 at the 2000 census. The birthplace of Captain Nathan Hale, Coventry is home to the Nathan Hale Homestead, which is now a museum open to the public....

 was built in 1710. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places

The listing included three contributing buildings, one contributing structure, and one other contributing object on a 4 acres (1.6 ha) area.

At the listing date, the house served as a museum and as the library of the Coventry Historical Society.

Strong-Porter Museum

The house is now the Strong-Porter Museum and is operated by the Coventry Historical Society. In addition to exhibits in the house about local history, visitors can tour the carpenter shop, 19th century privy, carriage sheds and barn.
