. He was educated at Clifton College

 and began his career in local radio. Scott currently employed by ITN where he presents on the weekend ITV News bulletins and is the Sports Editor.

ITN

Previously, Scott was ITN's Africa correspondent based in Johannesburg, Steve reported from many troublespots including Rwanda, Congo (then Zaire) and Zimbabwe.
Before that posting, Steve was ITN's North of England correspondent based in Leeds and West of England correspondent in Bristol.

Steve left ITN for a brief period between 1997 and 2000 when he was Five's anchorman for all their live sport. During that time he fronted more than 100 live European football matches involving British teams and also presented several England international games.

He also anchored Moto GP and Rugby Premiership programmes as well as having his own chat show - Talk Sport with Steve Scott.
