 promotion. Di Cuonzo spent the 2007–2008 season with Lega Pro club, Pro Patria, although his season was heavily hampered by injury, and the player was limited to just 7 appearances in the league.

In June 2008 Ravenna gave up the 50% registration rights back to Juventus. The Turin club also released him.

Lega Pro

Di Cuonzo then signed by Lega Pro Prima Divisione team Pro Patria, in attempt to revive his career after the injury setback, however Di Cuonzo managed just 9 league appearances again during the 2008–2009 season, again faltering to injury.

In July 2009 he left for F.C. Catanzaro
