There were 77 households out of which 33.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.3% were married couples
living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.4% were non-families. 18.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.65 and the average family size was 2.97.
In the village the population was spread out with 25.0% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 30.9% from 25 to 44, 27.0% from 45 to 64, and 10.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 98.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.0 males.

The area was settled by John Bell in the 1850s. He came from Ontario, Canada. He was one of the first settlers in the area. He was a logger and started Bell's Siding, which was a logging community, that was located near Morley Stanwood Middle School and High School. The Bell family is still in the area and consists of Theodore and Judy Bell, Marvin and Jean Bell, Kimberly Preston(Bell), Todd Bell, Mitch Bell, Nathan Bell, Ashlen Bell among others.
