"I don't enjoy (working in pornography)," Donovan told the Baltimore Sun in October 1985 in an article that was also reprinted in the San Diego Union-Tribune. She noted that she earned about $1,000 a day. "But I don't like to take my clothes off in front of everyone."

Career

Stacey appeared in several films, and was making between 10-15 films a year during the 1980s with her most prolific output being the years 1986 and 1987. At the time, Stacey was doing both lesbian and straight scenes. She even appeared in the film Switch Hitters in 1987. The film's plot involved a losing baseball team loaded with players more interested in each other than winning. Stacey has a scene in the film in which she seduces two bisexual players in the locker room. During this time, she was considered a top star in the industry.
