Panayyanuurkavu is a glorious temple located in the banks of sacred river PAMBA. This is one of the Major Thirpurasundari temple in Kerala,This temple practice the traditional Ruruchith way of Poojas.

About Temple

By forest fire, this place also made into ashes, so this vast area of alleppey is called as Kuttandu (“Chutta nadu). Later Parasurama renovated this place and again Vasishta given new Chaithanya(Rationality) to the deity with Moola manthras.For doing Vedas and Manthric poojas Parashurama bought Brahmins from Bhadrachalam of Andra Pradesh were brought for doing veda and mantric poojas of the Thripurasundari, then given the secret moolamantras to them. Even now this family is doing workship by the same traditional Manthras and Poojas.

People who are worried in the day to day life, Kuja Doksham(Argaraka dosham), getting children, shilly- Shally of witchcraft, business issues ,unemployment, shattered family, court problem, etc will be resolved by worshiping Panayannurkavu Devi.
