On March 27, 2007, this school made national headlines after an orgy involving four fifth-grade pupils occurred in an unsupervised classroom. The sexual activities were conducted in plain view of the other classmates, and led to four felony arrests for "obscenity." Another student, who served as a "lookout", was charged with "being an accessory to a crime."
