Plot

A reporter for a popular tabloid TV show

) is depressed about the quality of the show to which he's sold his talents. He wanders into a bar and proceeds to describe to the overly gregarious bartender (Byron Thames

The film then proceeds into a series of skits which includes ones about alien abduction, a lowbrow sketch concerning two hypnotists, a journey deep into the bowels of a top-secret military base to view "classified" alien videos, and repeated appearances by the show's pompous host, Max Harmon (Michael Wexler).
