There are currently 365 children at the school. Following an Ofsted Inspection in March 2007, which put the school into the 'Notice to Improve' category, the school has worked hard to make improvements in all areas. Many new teachers have joined the school and progress is improving significantly. In June 2008, Ofsted visited the school again and judged the school to be 'satisfactory', with 70% of its judgements to be 'good'.
