Sooty is a 2011 British children's television series that airs on CITV
. It is the first new series to feature Sooty
since the last series
ended in 2004, and the first since Richard Cadell
bought the rights to the brand in 2008.
The series sees Richard starting a new job as a 'Mr Fix-It' at Slater's family holiday park in a British coastal resort, with Sooty, Sweep and Soo always ready and willing to help him.
The first episode aired on 5 September 2011, and the series is currently airing weekdays at 10:10am and 1:25pm on the CITV Channel. The series also airs every Sunday at 7:00am on ITV1.

- Several of the routines in the show are taken from the original Harry Corbett scripts.
- Each episode was originally planned to be 18 minutes long, but due to the time slot allocated by CITV, elements that did not move the story forward were cut from the script.
