Corporate history

Sonus Networks was founded in 1997.
The company went public in May of 2000.

On April 18, 2008, Sonus acquired Atreus Systems, a supplier of service provisioning software for VoIP and IMS-based services.

In 2008, CEO Hassan Ahmed resigned. In 2009, Howard E. Janzen joined as the Chairman of the Board after Ahmed. In October of 2010 Raymond P. Dolan was appointed as CEO of Sonus Networks.

In February 2011, Sonus appointed Rajiv Laroia as CTO .. In early May 2011 Sonus appointed Todd Abbott as Senior VP of Worldwide Sales.. In August 2011, Sonus appointed Moe Castonguay as Senior VP and Chief Financial Officer..
