Writing and development

Siobhan Fahey began writing the album in 2000 with former Shakespears Sister band members Clare Kenny and Stephen Gallifant with the intention of creating her first solo album. The album was planned for release in 2001, though was cancelled.

Many of the tracks were released in various forms through Fahey's former website in the format of downloads. The income for these was used to help with further development of the album. Another release was scheduled in 2005 with the title 'Bad Blood'. However, this release was also cancelled.

The album was announced again on Fahey's official MySpace
