Synopsis

Dr Wilbur Orwell is a fat lazy forgetful veterinarian coasting through life when a weird beast is brought in who was hit by a car. After examining it long enough to find a set of dog tags with the name Michael, the beast bites him and dies. He feels ill the first night, but the next day feels invigorated and experiences heightened senses. Crane and Moonflower Dougdale come in to claim the body, slipping and almost calling Michael their son, but Wilbur figures out the connection and his own transformation into a werewolf after the death of a lazy employee named Geoff that he suspects he caused. An agent confronts him at his animal clinic and states his suspicions about Wilbur killing his employee. Wilbur then visits the Dougdales and learns that he wouldn't do anything in wolf form that he wouldn't do as a man. Crane puts it, "If you are a good man, then you are a good dog." The couple denies being behind the attacks, stating they're vegans, but that there are other werewolves out there. His assistant Mikayla is attacked, but survives. At the hospital while being threatened by the agent, he catches a scent and follows it to an abandoned warehouse and finds a werewolf obsessed man named Forest J Caldwell. Forest admits to using a werewolf costume to commit the killings to attract a real werewolf to bite him and turn him into a werewolf too. He shows off the suit and claws he made to kill with, but when he comments about hurting Mikayla, Wilbur rips him apart. The story ends with the Dougdales, Mikayla and the Orwell sitting down to a meatless turkey, Patty and Wilbur adjourn to the kitchen, Wilbur says he wants to share everything with Patty and as the camera pulls away, he bites her playfully and laughs.
