Soldini, enclavado en la inmensidad de la "Pampa Gringa", no tuvo fundación oficial. Nació por asentamiento humano a fines del siglo XIX y comienzos del actual; se pobló y creció con los inmigrantes. Sus extensos y fértiles campos fueron un imán para esos hombres, ávidos de amplitud para los ojos y de futuro promisorio para sus hijos. Aquí se asentaron tejiendo un porvenir de esperanzas que atrajo a los que habrán quedado más allá del océano; tenían en común las ínfimas posibilidades económicas.
