Slaves to Gravity were an alternative hard rock band formed in the summer of 2006 in London, England.

On October 9th, 2011, the band announced they would be breaking up and that they would play their last ever show at Relentless Freeze Festival on October 28th.

Scatter The Crow

The band was founded by the three remaining members of the now defunct hard rock band The Ga Ga's

Throughout 2007 they toured both the UK and US. They released the singles "Big Red" and "Meantime"; both entered the UK Rock Chart

" came out in 2008 on Gravitas, their own label, founded by Gleeson's father. Four singles were also released from this album; "Big Red", "Meantime", "Mr. Regulator", and "Doll Size".

In this time, the band toured with The Goo Goo Dolls and Brigade. They were also scheduled to tour with Fightstar

Their second album was scheduled for completion in May 2010, but delays caused it to be released almost a year later, in April 2011. Drummer Jason Thomopoulos left in September 2009, wishing to spend more time with his family as his father had suffered a stroke. He was replaced by Gemma Seddon in October, but she left the band in March 2010 and was herself replaced by former Pitchshifter

In 2009, the band embarked on tour with The Butterfly Effect

The new album was released on 15th April, 2011. Singles released included Honesty; the video of which was uploaded to YouTube in August 2010; Good Advice, and Silence Now.
