Myddelton married firstly Elizabeth Wilbraham, daughter of Sir Thomas Wilbraham of Woodhey, and secondly Charlotte Bridgeman, daughter of Sir Orlando Bridgeman, 1st Baronet. His only child was a daughter Charlotte and he was succeeded in the baronetcy by his brother Richard.
