. She decided to have a paternity test. The test revealed that Dr. Harrison Davis was the father. The test was tampered with by Simone's mother, Pauline Ravelle. Tom was in fact the father. Simone left town with her son to help orphans in Romania

. Tom Jr. was against the relationship from the beginning. Simone and Justus became engaged. Simone ended the engagement when she realized that Tom Jr. would never accept it.
