. The team finished seventh. The following year, Tirinzoni was the Swiss skip, and her team finished sixth. In 1999, Tirinzoni won the whole tournament for Switzerland, when her Swiss team defeated Japan (skipped by Akiko Katoh) in the final.

In 2005 Tirinzoni finished fourth at the Swiss Olympic trials. The following year she qualified for the 2006 Ford World Women's Curling Championship
