Sigma Omega Epsilon was formed to advance the personal well being of the members. The sorority life provides experience in self-government and encourages its sisters to develop masteries in cooperation, leadership and relations with other individuals. Sigma Omega Epsilon is simply defined as a society of diverse females (ethnic, parents, sexualities, careers, background, etc.) who work together to better the community and are bonded by sisterhood.

Goals

The goals of Sigma Omega Epsilon are to demonstrate an awareness of ethical diversity, to perform at least two community service projects per month, to achieve academic greatness for all in the sisterhood, to encourage progression, to apply a sense of unity and sisterhood, and to become role models to the greater community.

Symbols of the Sorority include the colors (burgundy, grey and silver), the mascot
