History

The band won a national competition in 2010, which consisted of over 100 bands, with the final prize being a slot at the Glastonbury festival. http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/theticket/2010/0702/1224273770940.html Amazingly, the band had only been playing together three months at the time when they won this prestigious prize. They have gone on to play at many festivals since then, including Indiependence and the Temple House festival in the summer of 2010. http://www.heinekenmusic.ie/interviews/2159/exclusive-chat-withshouting-at-planes/

They launched their first single 'Hospice' in August 2010. http://www.anglocelt.ie/plus/goingout/articles/2010/08/18/3999327-a-first-single-from-shouting-at-planes/
The single debuted at 23 in the Irish charts http://www.irma.ie/aucharts.asphttp://www.independent.ie/entertainment/music/band-flying-high-after-glastonbury-slot-2316054.html
November saw the band release their second eagerly awaited single, entitled "So Young". The launch gig was held fronting a packed out Button Factory, with support from The Dirty 9's http://www.thedirty9s.net/, and MC'd by 2fm's own Paddy McKenna.

Surrender single launch took place at The Academy 2. A song was dedicated to Conor Teirney. He was very happy.
