. Held since 1986, STVF has become the most influential and prestigious international TV festival in Asia strengthening the cooperation and communication between the Chinese media industry and the world.

It awards several "Magnolia" Awards for best television film, best television series, best director, best actor/actress, and other categories, as well as a "Special Jury Award."
Since 2004, STVF added animation category.
