Laksman Chandra Seth is an ex MP and is a hard fought leader. He is one of the top rung leaders in Bengal against whom CPI(M) took organisational corrective measure to curtail corruption and high handedness. Laksman Chandra Seth was currently attacked by a mob led by TMC MP Suvendu Adhikary who gathered peasenats against the autocracies of the then MP in the Nandigram event. The police shot dead at least 14 villagers and wounded 70 more on that event which led the end of communists after 35 yers. Now a days he is in much difficulty with Supreme court directives of not following the proper regulations to begin a medical college.
