Scott Stewart was the Chairman of the College Republican National Committee from 1999 through 2003.

He was CRNC National Chairman from 1999-2003. He defeated Robert "Buzz" Jacobs at the 1999 CRNC convention at the Watergate Hotel.

During Stewart's tenure as Chair of the CRNC, the organization began a full-time field program and improved fundraising

In 2001 three women accused Stewart of harassing female colleagues and using party funds to pay for cell phone bills and other personal expenses. The Republican National Committee
