at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Perry graduated from Advanced Individual Training at Fort Belvoir, Virginia
as a technical drafting specialist and was the president of his Officer Candidate School
class. Perry has attained the rank of lieutenant colonel
. He assumed command of the 2-104th General Support Aviation Battalion in February 2008. He has been called up for a tour of duty in Iraq and will deploy early 2009.
Perry attended Northern High School
in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania
and the Cumberland-Perry Vo-Tech School. Prior to elected office, Perry has worked as a mechanic, a dock worker, draftsman, and a licensed insurance agent. He earned a degree in Business Administration Management from Pennsylvania State University
in 1991.
In 1993, Perry founded Hydrotech Mechanical Services, Inc., a mechanical contracting firm in Dillsburg
specializing in large meter calibration. Since 2005, he has served as an Aviation Safety Officer, Joint Command for the State Aviation Office.
