Sarmad Sultan Khoosat is a script-writer, director and actor from Pakistan
best known for directing the drama Pani Jaisa Piyar
. He is the son of television and film actor Irfan Khoosat
and created the situational comedy (sitcom) Shashlick, which ran for over three years on PTV
. He has also written the script for Saqib Malik's upcoming production Ajnabee Shehr Mein . Khoosat routed into directing with television show Piya Naam Ka Diya in 2007, which was aired on PTV
channel . Khoosat's second drama, Kalmoohi, directed, written and acted by him, began airing on PTV
channel in early 2010. Khoosat announced plans to continue scriptwriting and to one day direct a film. His newest projects include the dramas, Pani Jaisa Piyar
