Hard Reset Procedure

  • Slide open the device to expose the QWERTY keyboard.
  • Press and hold the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
  • While holding the center of the 5-way navigation pad, use the stylus to gently press and release the reset button.
  • When Clearing Data... appears on the screen, release the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
  • Device will continue a power on sequence and will prompt to align screen

Known Issues

Some models have an issue where the touchscreen will not properly calibrate, often referred to as the "calibration loop" issue. Some users have noted that the touchscreen is 1 centimetre (0.393700787401575 in) off on the right side
