s developed in the 1960s. They use a #10-32 UNF threaded interface (screw type) and are available in 50 Ω or 75 Ω impedances. They offer excellent electrical performance from DC to 10 GHz.

The term Subvis connector appears to be European usage; the connectors appear to be electrically and mechanically equivalent to SMC.
