Vehicle description

Class 10 vehicles are most often 2-wheel drive, and most feature a 4130 chrome-moly tube-frame chassis covered by a fiberglass or other composite body.

Engine

Production engines produced in quantities greater than 5,000 and less than 2000 cc in stock form. Additional engine size and configuration limitations exist based on number of seats, cooling type(air/water) and intake(carburetor/injection). Although 2000 cc air-cooled engines can be used, most 2-seat Class 10 vehicles implement a carbureted water-cooled engine less than 1650 cc in size.

Notable race teams

  • Lawrence Equipment Racing - Mikey Lawrence, Blake Kirkpatrick, Brian Gordon, Joel Liska.
  • Wide Open Baja Racing - A sister class 10 BC car from Wide Open was entered in the 2010 Baja 1000 in the open class and finished third overall.
