S1 also known as S1 Television is a 24-hour Hindi news channel launched in India on 6 August 2005. It was an initiative of Senior Media Limited owned by Vijay Dixit. Mr.Dixit is the CMD of the Senior Group. The channel was launched in 2005 and enjoyed top position in the TRP rating in the same year.
