Royal Comics Syndicate is a Finnish comics syndicate, whose goal has been since its foundation to internationalize the domestic comics. The comics syndicate operates as an agent for comics artists and sells the publishing rights to newspapers, magazines, and other media, on the behalf of the artists. Royal Comics Syndicate is founded by comics artist Timo Kähkönen. His most famous comics is Paikallisuutisia (Local News).

The syndicate was founded in 2004. The aim of the syndicate is to improve the operating conditions of Finnish comics artists, by selling their productions to the international markets.

Comics

The syndicate is currently distributing six comics series:
  • Paikallisuutisia (Local News)
  • Kapine (Tin-Bin)
  • Loikan vuoksi (Urban Leap)
  • Musta hevonen (Dark Side of the Horse)
  • Sekametsä (Mixed Forest)
  • Viljo ja Esteri (Bill and Esther)


All of them are being published in Finland. As of 2011, Local News is also being published in Norway and Dark Side of the Horse in GoComics
