. It is adjacent to, perhaps overlapping, the unincorporated communities of Mudville and Barretville.

There are no official or even particularly widely agreed-upon boundaries of the Rosemark area, though there are "Welcome to Rosemark" signs as far south on Austin Peay Highway as Millington-Arlington Road. The northern boundary is anywhere from Mudville Road to the Tipton County Line. To the west the boundary is somewhere approaching Edmund Orgill Park, and to the east somwhere approaching Bolton High School.

Rosemark is centered at Rosemark Road and Kerr-Rosemark Road, the location of several old community institutions including the Rosemark ARP Church, the Rosemark Pentecostal Church, and Tipton-Rosemark Academy (formerly Rosemark School).
