Tornados of 1958, 2003, and 2011

In 1958, a tornado ripped through northern Winnebago County, causing damage to Kinnikinnick; according to records of the damage, the tornado could be rated as F2 or F3

On May 30, 2003, another tornado was reported in Roscoe, although damage was minimal. A possible tornado has moved through the neighborhood of Chickory Ridge, which is due west of the Rock River near the intersection of Bridge Street and North Second Street. Damage had been reported at the Harlem-Roscoe Fire Department and Dairy Queen. Noted damage is down by Culvers.
