. He was also selected to play for the Czech Republic in the 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
, and had one assist in five games in that tournament. Horak signed a contract with the Rangers on May 6, 2011. He was traded to the Calgary Flames
on June 1 of that year along with two 2011 second round draft picks (The Flames would select Markus Granlund
and Tyler Wotherspoon) in exchange for Tim Erixon
