Much of Roger's music revolves around life in southern Arizona. Roger was born in Tucson, AZ and grew up in Tempe, AZ where he balanced life as a suburban kid and visiting his grandparents ranch in Southern AZ with riding horses, herding cattle and fixing fences. As a youth, his frequent trips south of the border to Mexico have influenced not only his music, but also his charitable contributions. Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers have been throwing big concerts in Rocky Point, Mexico for over 10 years and always raise money for charities based in Rocky Point, Mexico as well as many charities in AZ.

Roger has been a successful, truly independent musician for over 10 years. He owns his own tour bus and tours all over the United States every year.

Roger has three children and lives in Tempe, AZ.

Cultural Impact

In the 2011 novel Donations to Clarity by Noah Baird (Published by Second Wind Publishing), two characters were named after Roger Clyne- A newscaster 'Echo Clyne' and her cameraman 'Roger'.
