. The school was constructed in 1980, and has a rated capacity of 750. To help ease congestion, one classroom is now available in an air conditioned trailer outside the high school.

Areas of study composing the core curriculum at RHHS include English, Social Studies, Math, Science, and foreign languages.

Many extra curricular classes are available in areas such as Technology, Art, as well as independent study.

As of May 2009, Rocky Hill High School is now cordinating with Virtual High School program, to help provide students with extra opportunity to take classes online. These classes are ones generally not offered to students at RHHS, and will be credited towards minimum required number of credits(22) needed to graduate from Rocky Hill High School
