 as inspiration for her simple aesthetic. Her paintings are typically on large canvases, which her husband Ralph helps her to construct. As to her method, Wesner says, "A single flower or a composition of several flowers marks my starting point for a painting. I use the lines, the natural curvature of the petals to form the basis of a first sketch. Within the framework of a simple formula, I strive to create a balanced and beautiful painting composed only with line and color."
